Most people consider tomorrow, October 31st, or Sunday November 1st, Samhain.  However, the reality of it is that Samhain doesn’t fall on a specific date.  It falls on an astrological occurance, which is 15 degrees Scorpio.  Which isn’t until November 7th this year.  This is an interesting fact, which I wasn’t aware of until recently.

So, if you’re like me, instead of waiting till next week to celebrate, you’ll be celebrating from tomorrow until next Saturday.  LOL!  I think it’s only proper to have a week long celebration.  I for one will be going to two public Samhain celebrations, the brown cording ritual (which will be on the Full moon on Monday) and I will also be doing a little family celebration as well.  whoohoo!  I love it when I can have continuous celebrations for the holidays, especially my favorite holidays.So what are you going to be doing for Samhain?  Will you be celebrating only on Oct. 31, only Nov 7th, or the entire week?  Let me know what you’ll be doing for Samhain.  Whatever it is, may you have a wonderful, blessed and safe Samhain!

So, as you may have noticed (and I do hope someone has, because I’d hate to think I”m the only one coming to my blog.  LOL) the site has been going through some changes.  My wonderful boyfriend bought me Artisteer for my birthday and I’ve been playing with it ever since.  I’ve created several different Wordpress Blog Themes for pagans with it, and will be giving them away for free soon.  In the meantime I’m testing them out here on my blog to see how they look and work and I’ll probably pick one to be “My theme”, which will be the one that won’t be given out to other people.  That’s why I don’t have the themes up for grabs just yet.  If you have a theme idea you’d like to see, leave me a comment and I’ll try to work it out! I happened onto this GREAT website today… I don’t remember exactly how, I think it was through one of my million yahoo groups or newsletters that I subscribe too (and no million is not an exageration LOL!). However I got there, doesn’t really matter, because the Universe sent me there none the less.

What I found on the the website was a way to get instant manifestations. More importantly than the speed, is the message. How to keep your affirmations positive so that they work better. Basically instead of saying “I want more money!” you’d say “Thank you for every dollar that I have as it gets me closer to the amount that I want”. The difference being the tone of the affirmation. The first tone, is of desperation, where as the second tone is through shear gratitude from the bottom of your soul. That gratitude will send your request to the universe like lightning.

So, instead of me saying “I need more clients. I need more money”… I say “Thank you for the customers that I have that are so loyal to me that they are continuing to give me work, which is sending me more money all the time.” The second affirmation makes me feel happy and good…. the first makes me feel, yicky (that is too a word).

Since I just found this site, I don’t have any results yet, but as soon as I have a result, I will let you know. At the very LEAST it’s already made me feel good about today!

There are a lot of poets that say it’s a big scam, and really it feels like one. They tell you that your poem was chosen for publication, but the only way for you to get the book is to buy it from them for $60, and that’s their early SALE price! Then there are the conventions (which are next month here in Las Vegas), and they charge you an arm and a leg for entering into the convention. Then they want you to pay for your awards. So, yea I think it’s a scam, and if I do win something, they’ll probably charge me for that too!! But still… vote for my poem anyway! LOL
